Enterprise (NT) artist Dolphus Cadieux works on a piece of kimberlite from the De Beers Canada Snap Lake Mine to create Northern Rhythm, a piece commissioned by De Beers Canada to celebrate the return of the Legendary Sky Diamond to Yellowknife. The carving is being permanently donated to the Prince of Wales Northern Heritage Centre by De Beers Canada. It is part of the Legendary Sky Exhibit, an Astronomy North display that celebrates the Nature, Culture and Wonder of Canada’s Northern Sky that is open for public viewing for the next year. The diamond flew in space in July 2009 aboard the Space Shuttle Endeavour.
