Victor Extension

Victor Main is one of about 15 kimberlite pipes in the immediate vicinity of the Victor Mine and is currently producing some of the most remarkable rough diamonds in the world.

In 2009, De Beers Canada’s exploration efforts have been focused around extending the resource reserves at the Victor Mine. This work involves large diameter drilling at the satellite kimberlite pipes adjacent to Victor Main and Victor Southwest.

If the resources prove out, it would extend the life of mine and provide great economic benefit for the surrounding communities.
