Chantal Lavoie is the Acting Chief Executive Officer and the Chief Operating Officer of De Beers Canada Inc. Since joining the company in 2003, Chantal has held the roles of Senior Vice President Operations, Vice President of NWT Projects and Snap Lake Mine Manager.

Chantal’s experience includes project feasibility studies, mine design and development as well as leadership in ongoing technical and underground operations.

Chantal holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mining Engineering from Universitè Laval. He is a registered professional engineer in the Northwest Territories, Ontario and Quebec.
